Standard Terms & Conditions

  1. By visiting Adventure Wonderland you accept the following terms and conditions and agree to abide by the park’s rules and the instructions of the staff at all times.
  2. No dogs permitted in the the park except assistance dogs. Dogs should not be left in cars.
  3. Due to weather conditions some attractions may not be open all season.
  4. We cannot refund tickets for the reason of adverse weather conditions.
  5. Visitors are reminded that for technical, operational, weather or other reasons, any attraction, ride or facility may be closed, altered, removed or be otherwise unavailable at any time without prior notice. this does not permit a reason for a refund
  6. For safety or operational reasons, the management reserves the right to close, alter or replace any attraction without prior notice.
  7. The entrance price covers all major attractions, however some small attractions are either coin-operated or incur a minimum additional cost.
  8. No responsibility is accepted by the Management for damage incurred in the car park no matter how incurred.
  9. The Management reserves the right to refuse entry to the Park for whatever reason. Being in possession of a pre-paid ticket does not give exemption from this.
  10. In order to facilitate the security, safety and comfort of all customers and staff Adventure Wonderland reserves the right to remove from the park, without refund, anyone it deems to have behaved in a manner which has, or is likely to, affect the safety and enjoyment of other visitors or staff.
  11. Adventure Wonderland reserves the right to conduct security searches and to refuse admission to you should you refuse to comply with such security searches.
  12. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult over 16 at all times.
  13. We reserve the right to refuse entry to adults who are not accompanying children.
  14. On some rides (as indicated) children must be accompanied by an adult.
  15. Signed and ride-operator instructions must be followed at all times.
  16. Guardians/Parents are required to ensure that all sensitive parts of children’s bodies are protected with suitable clothing on all rides and attractions.
  17. The Piranha slide within the ‘Wild Thing’ play centre is suitable for 4 years and over, it is a fast slide, due to this Nylon Clothing, Leggings and jogging bottoms should not be worn.
  18. No wheeled footwear or boards of any kind are permitted in the Park.
  19. The consumption of alcohol is not permitted in the park at any time.
  20. Adventure Wonderland will not be held liable for any losses, injuries or damages sustained at Adventure Wonderland, including damage, theft or loss to property and motor vehicles, if the cause is due to the negligence of the individual or the unforeseeable actions of other customers or third parties.
  21. Strictly no trading is allowed in the park without the prior written consent of Adventure Wonderland.
  22. Whilst the Management does its best to update and maintain the accuracy of this website, it cannot guarantee its content at all times.
  23. Any potential visitor is advised to ring to check any detail that may be of particular importance.
  24. The park runs a ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy for aggressive or inappropriate behavior towards our staff.
  25. Parents/guardians are responsible for the children in their care at ALL Times, the staff at adventure wonderland are not employed to supervise the children attending.
  26. Opening, Closing and Last admission times apply to all customers including members.

Terms and Conditions specific to Full Park Birthday Parties (From 28th March 2014)

In addition to the Standard Terms & Conditions

  1. Party bookings can be made for a minimum of 10 children and maximum of 18, we may at times be able to accomodate larger parties, this needs to be discussed over the phone and cannot be booked online.
  2. 1:1 Free adults included with Really Wild and Pony Party bookings. Additional adults will be charged at the standard seasonal rate
  3. Unlimited Adults with the Value Party is given with a fair usage policy worked on 2 adults per child (adults will be classed as anyone over the age of 16).
  4. Value party is only available weekdays, during the local school term to children under the age of 4 (below school age).
  5. Once a party has been booked and a deposit (minimum of 10 children) has been paid, no refunds will be given for non attendance.
  6. Any outstanding balance must be paid on the day before the eating time of the party.
  7. Any children or adults that are not directly invited to the party, eg Siblings, parents, grand parents… will be charged at the standard group rate admission. The admission will not include party food or party bags.
  8. Adult food is not included in the Party Packages, this can be added at an additional charge.
  9. Birthday parties can be booked on Special Event or Character Days (some exclusions may apply).
  10. Free Birthday child member is exclusivly for current members who’s birthday is being booked. This is not available to non-members.
  11. Party rooms are allocated for 1 hour from your booked eating time, your food will be served at the booked time
  12. Adventure wonderland supply a party host to meet and greet you and your party, They will deliver the food, squash, ices and your supplied cake. They are not provided to supervise the party.
  13. One of our entertainment team will be available for up to 15 minutes in the party room.
  14. It is the responsibility of the party organiser to ensure that the children invited are supervised at all times.
  15. 10% online discount is only available to customers booking our parties online. This discount is not available over the phone or in person.
  16. No refunds will be given on paid catering numbers, deposit is non-refundable
  17. No refunds will be given in the case of adverse weather.

Terms and Conditions specific to Winter Wild Thing! Birthday Parties

In addition to the Standard Terms & Conditions

  1. Wild Thing only parties are available on Wild Thing only opening dates and times.
  2. Party bookings can be made for a minimum of 10 children and maximum of 18, we may at times be able to accomodate larger parties, this needs to be discussed over the phone and cannot be booked online.
  3. 1:1 Free adults included with Really Wild and Pony Party bookings. Additional adults will be charged at the standard admission rate.

 Terms and Conditions specific to Discount Vouchers and Special Offers

Tesco Days Out Tokens

  1. We accept Tesco days out tokens against standard admission price
  2. Tesco days out tokens cannot be used against; Birthday parties, Membership, Full Father Christmas Experience, Food, Gifts or purchasing of any other items while in the park
  3. Tesco days out tokens cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.

Other Vouchers

  1. We accept a variety of discount vouchers
  2. Only one voucher can be used per transaction
  3. 2 for 1, 3 for 2 and other similar discount offers will be cheapest free
  4. Vouchers can only be used against standard admission and cannot be used with any other voucher or offer

Adult Free Return offer

  1. This offer is valid any day the full park is open during our summer 2013 season from 23rd March 2013 up to 10th September 2013.
  2. You must retain your original receipt and hand it over with your coupon from our park leaflet on your return visit.
  3. Return visit must be within 6 days of your initial visit.
  4. This offer can only be used once per paying transaction.
  5. This offer is only valid for Adult returns when accompannying full paying children.
  6. This offer is only valid if your initial admission was made with either; Cash, Debit/Credit Card, online booking, agency ticket.
  7. This offer is not valid if you used a discount voucher on your initial admission.
  8. This offer is not valid if you gained access to the park on your initial visit with, Tesco Days out tokens, 3 for 2 Vouchers, Discount Vouchers or any other offer.
  9. This offer cannot be used in conjuction with any other offer or discount voucher.

Aviation Museum Offer (2014)

  1. Free child entry only on same day of visit to Adventure Wonderland
  2. Wristband must be worn
  3. Offer only valid for children up to the age of 15
  4. Offer valid from 29th March – 7th September 2014
  5. Adult admission applies. Adults do not receive free entry.
  6. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer

In house Special offers

  1. At times we may offer deals on birthday parties, memberships and other services, These will be date restricted.
  2. Any offer like this will not be honored after the end date
  3. Other offers may be made on the same product or service at various intervals throughout the year.
  4. Offers will not necessarily be the same each time
  5. We reserve the right to change, remove or void any offer
  6. Anything bought using an offer cannot be refunded

Facebook Promotions and Special Offers

  1. Offers only valid for fans of our Facebook page
  2. Any offer must be collected by clicking the offer button on our Facebook page.
  3. Facebook offers can only be redeemed in person.
  4. Proof of collected offer must be shown at time of purchase.
  5. Only one offer per Facebook fan.
  6. Offer must be redeemed in person within the dates specified.
  7. Each offer will have it’s own Terms and Conditions in addition to our Standard Terms and Conditions.

Member Summer Party Offer.

  1. Special price of £7.00 per child
  2. Minimum of 10 children. Maximum of 18 children per booking
  3. Only valid for 2014 summer members
  4. ‘Better than half price’ refers to a cost but not a package.

Terms and Conditions Specific for Online Bookings

In addition to the Standard Terms & Conditions, the purchase of online tickets or the making of an online booking is subject to the acceptance of the following additional terms and conditions.

  1. Tickets purchased online are issued in the form of a confirmation email. You will be asked to present your email (including the booking reference) to gain admission. Failure to do so may result in refusal of admission for which Adventure Wonderland cannot be held responsible. Merac Ltd. provides the platform for this transaction but your purchase and contract are made directly with Adventure Wonderland who are responsible for resolving any issues with you. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours you should contact Adventure Wonderland prior to your visit.
  2. Whilst the Management have been assured of the secure nature of all online payments they are unable to take responsibility for the loss of money through any transaction which remains at the risk of the customer.
  3. It is your responsibility to check your booking prior to your visit and contact Adventure Wonderland immediately if there is a problem as mistakes will not be rectified on arrival.
  4. Entry will only be permitted on production of a valid booking confirmation email.
  5. Individual day tickets purchased online are valid for one use for the duration of the season and are not date specific (unless stated on the booking). Refunds for day tickets purchased online will not be issued except where Adventure Wonderland has been forced to close for an extended period of time.
  6. Refunds cannot be given for date specific online bookings (Birthday Parties and Christmas Bookings) unless where Adventure Wonderland has been forced to close on the specific date. Alterations to the date of a date-specific booking will be made subject to availability and the payment of any extra charges that may result from the change of date. Where a date-change results in a net fall in the cost of the booking, a refund will not be made.
  7. The quantity of people in your group, and their respective ages, will be checked on arrival to Adventure Wonderland against those on the booking confirmation. Any discrepancies will require the difference to be paid on entrance or entry will be refused.
  8. Adventure Wonderland is unable to offer refunds for members of your group that do not attend. Where you are unsure of numbers, we advise you book for the minimum number required for the specific booking and add to the booking nearer the date.
  9. In certain circumstances Adventure Wonderland may offer an alternative product of similar value when a date-specific booking has been cancelled. This is done entirely at the discretion of the management.
  10. Any tickets or online bookings purchased in error will be refunded provided you notify Adventure Wonderland within 24 hours of the purchase, less any administrative costs that may be incurred in doing so.
  11. Online bookings cannot be used as part of any marketing, media or sales promotion, whether commerical or non-commercial, without the prior written consent of Adventure Wonderland.
  12. The registered address and details of the Card holder must match exactly the booking or payment will not be processed.

Terms And Conditions Specific for Memberships. (in addition to our Standard Terms and Conditions)

Summer 2015

  1. The Summer Membership card permits free entry to the registered card holder only, any accompanying adults or children will be charged the current individual admission rate.
  2. Membership cards are valid for use from the 21st March 2015 to 1st November 2015 for all opening dates.
  3. Membership cards are only valid during normal open hours and do not permit early entry. Last admission and closing times must be obeyed.
  4. Memberships cannot be purchased with Tesco Vouchers or any other discount voucher.
  5. Membership cards must be presented on every visit; failure to do so may result in delayed or refused entry, or you may be required to pay regular admission.
  6. The category of membership bought must be relevant to the age of the child for the majority of the membership term.
  7. Cards that require replacing due to loss or damage will incur a £5 charge. A card is considered to be lost after three visits have been made where the card has not been produced.
  8. Members must obey all Park safety regulations and the instructions of the Wild Thing play area supervisors at all times.
  9. Whilst every effort will be made to ensure the Park/Wild Thing remains open as advertised, the management reserves the right to close part or all of the Park/Wild Thing for whatever reason at any time without prior notice.
  10. The management reserves the right to alter or withdraw any promotions offered to Members at any time for whatever reason without prior notice.
  11. Membership allows entry as standard Admission.
  12. Membership cards can only be used by the registered card holder and not transferred to another person.
  13. You must allow Adventure Wonderland to take a photo of each member which is associated with a Membership Card, this is stored securely on your membership account to ensure your card is not used by other people. Failure to allow a photo to be taken will void your membership and no refund will be given.
  14. Café and gift shop 10% discount is only valid for purchases made by the card holder or an accompanying adult.
  15. Disabled members receive one free adult carer admission per visit.
  16. Members under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who assumes all responsibility for their supervision whilst using the Park.
  17. In the event of high visitor numbers we may use time-restricted sessions in Wild Thing. Membership holders are required to adhere to the allotted time to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
  18. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in Membership being revoked without refund.
  19. We reserve the right to alter the ‘calendar of use’ at any time.
  20. Purchasing Membership constitutes acceptance of all terms & conditions.
  21. We do not offer refunds on Summer Memberships.Annual
  1. The Annual Membership card permits free entry to the registered card holder only, any accompanying adults or children will be charged the current individual admission rate.
  2. Membership cards are valid from the date of issue for 12 Calendar Months.
  3. Membership cards are only valid during normal open hours and do not permit early entry. Last admission and closing times must be obeyed.
  4. Memberships cannot be purchased with Tesco Vouchers or any other discount voucher.
  5. Membership cards must be presented on every visit; failure to do so may result in delayed or refused entry, or you may be required to pay regular admission.
  6. The category of membership bought must be relevant to the age of the child for the majority of the membership term.
  7. Cards that require replacing due to loss or damage will incur a £5 charge. A card is considered to be lost after three visits have been made where the card has not been produced.
  8. Members must obey all Park safety regulations and the instructions of the Wild Thing play area supervisors at all times.
  9. Whilst every effort will be made to ensure the Park/Wild Thing remains open as advertised, the management reserves the right to close part or all of the Park/Wild Thing for whatever reason at any time without prior notice.
  10. The management reserves the right to alter or withdraw any promotions offered to Members at any time for whatever reason without prior notice.
  11. Membership allows entry to the Full Park/Wild Thing as standard Admission; on occasion there may be an additional charge for entry. If a Member wishes to visit Santa on a Christmas event day, this will be charged at half the standard price.
  12. Membership cards can only be used by the registered card holder and not transferred to another person.
  13. Café and gift shop discount is only valid for purchases made by the card holder or an accompanying adult.
  14. Disabled members receive one free adult carer admission per visit.
  15. Members under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who assumes all responsibility for their supervision whilst using the Park.
  16. In the event of high visitor numbers we may use time-restricted sessions in Wild Thing. Membership holders are required to adhere to the allotted time to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
  17. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in Membership being revoked without refund.

Winter 2013/14

  1. The Wild Thing Membership card permits free entry to the registered card holder only, any accompanying adults or children will be charged the current individual admission rate.
  2. Membership cards are valid from the 8th September 2014 until the 20th March 2015 for all Wild Thing Only and Christmas opening dates and times. They are not valid during full park opening hours (including half terms).
  3. Membership cards are only valid during normal open hours and do not permit early or late entry. Last admission and closing times must be obeyed, including early closing time on 24th December and 31st December 2013.
  4. Wild Thing Membership cannot be purchased with Tesco Vouchers or any other discount voucher.
  5. Membership cards must be presented on every visit; failure to do so may result in delayed or refused entry, or you may be required to pay regular admission.
  6. The category of membership bought must be relevant to the age of the holder for the majority of the membership term.
  7. Cards that require replacing due to loss or damage will incur a £5 charge. A card is considered to be lost after three visits have been made where the card has not been produced.
  8. Members must obey all Wild Thing safety regulations and the instructions of the play area supervisors at all times.
  9. Whilst every effort will be made to ensure Wild Thing remains open as advertised, the management reserves the right to close part or all of Wild Thing for whatever reason at any time without prior notice.
  10. The management reserves the right to alter or withdraw any promotions offered to Members at any time for whatever reason without prior notice.
  11. Membership allows entry to Wild Thing on Christmas event days but does not include a visit to Father Christmas unless the upgrade price is paid and booked in advance.
  12. Membership cards can only be used by the registered card holder and not transferred to another person. We will take a ‘head shot’ photo of each registered card holder either at time of purchase or your first visit. Failure to allow this will result in the membership being suspended with no refund offered.
  13. Café and gift shop discount is only valid for purchases made by the card holder or an accompanying adult. Discount is not retrospective, ensure you show your card before payment is made.
  14. Disabled members receive one free adult carer admission per visit.
  15. Members must be accompanied by an adult who assumes all responsibility for their supervision whilst in Wild Thing.
  16. In the event that high visitor numbers result in time-restricted sessions, Membership holders are required to adhere to the allotted time to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
  17. Failure to comply with any one of  these terms and conditions may result in Membership being Suspended/revoked without refund.
  18. We do not offer refunds on Memberships after they have been used to gain admission.
  19. Purchasing Membership constitutes acceptance of these terms & conditions.

 

Additional Terms

  1. We cannot refund tickets for the reason of adverse weather conditions.

We also collect anonymous information about your use of the website from cookies and by the use of pixel tags. We may match information gathered from these sources with any information you have given us about yourself for the purposes explained in this policy.

We also use passive means to collect information such as tracking what pages you visit on the site. This information is used by Adventure Wonderland to determine how visitors use the site. This then feeds into the development of the site as we aim to make it more enjoyable and easy to use.

Direct Marketing

The data you give us about yourself will enable us to give you updates via email using the contact details you provide on promotions and services we think may be of interest to you or to involve you in market research. To improve our picture of your interests we may link the data you give us with any data we gathered (via cookies) about your use of the site. Whenever we ask you for information about yourself you may, by ticking the relevant box, opt out of receiving these marketing communications. In addition, whenever you are contacted by email you will be told how to opt out of being updated by email in the future. Children under the age of 18 years

Adventure Wonderland does not intend to collect information from children under the age of 18 years. Children under the age of 18 years will not be able to participate in competitions nor to sign up to the Adventure Wonderland mailing list as uthorisation of use will be required through the use of a tick box on all entry/submission forms.

Buying tickets and other bookings online

Booking online is quick, easy, convenient and safe. Adventure Wonderland makes every effort to maintain customer confidentiality when scuring an online payment. This includes ensuring the security of your credit card details and other personal information. All of your personal information is encrypted as it travels over the internet.

Online competitions

Adventure Wonderland may run online competitions intermittently on the website. Any personal information that is collected from this type of activity will be deleted once the competition entry date has closed. Personal information provided will not be used for marketing purposes unless specifically authorised to do so.

Statistical Data

We try to ensure that our website offers visitors exactly what they are looking for. To help us achieve this goal we may analyse anonymous data collected by cookies about how visitors use the website. Such data also helps us to measure the success of our advertising campaigns. We may also collect Internet Protocol addresses to help diagnose problems with our servers and for system administration, but we don’t link these addresses to any person’s name or identity.
