Duties include:

• Sole charge of the Entertainments Department in the absence of the Entertainments Manager
• Responsibility for ensuring that all entertainment is punctual and to a high standard on a day to day basis
• Assisting, when required, with the direction, choreography and general production of the shows in rehearsal periods
• Ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of the theatre, both backstage and front of house
• Performing in shows alongside the other Show Team members, including presenting, puppeteering and skin costume characters.
• 'Minding' skin costume characters
• Ensuring the correct end of day cash reconciliation of the Happydrome Theatre Foyer Shop

The position is part-time, mainly working weekends and school holidays, but the successful candidate will also be expected to cover some term-time weekday shifts as a solo act (usually a storytelling show). Therefore, good availability and commitment is essential.
